Panel App review – Passive app income!

The Panel App is something that you can run in your background of your phone, and actually earn money from it. Of course, you aren’t going to make a million dollars just by running your phone, but you can make a few dollars by doing absolutely nothing and leaving the app running on your phone.

The company behind Panel App collects data for the purpose of analytics, and pooling data from thousands of users to provide meaningful information to third parties that require it.

Thus, if you are comfortable in sharing basic information such as your location services and phone usage, you can earn some money from this app easily.

Edit: This app appears to be for people living in USA only! If you are outside these areas, you may or will not get paid.

How to get Started

Click the link I have provided for you above in order to begin. You would be required to enter your E-mail Address and cell phone number, and also how you want to receive it and your platform device as well.

These information are required so that you can easily receive the link in your text message or E-mail to download the app directly from the app store. After being directed to your app store, you can proceed to download the app from the app store.

After installing the app, you are required to create an account. This is done by just entering a few contact details such as your E-mail and phone number, then some basic demographics about yourself and you are done setting it up!

How to use the App

Pretty much after signing up, you have already set up your account with your basic demographics.

In order to earn points,

• Make sure location services is enabled or you would not earn points at all.
• Do not close the app at all, you have to let it run in the background to earn points.

Once you open the Panel App, you are able to view how much points you have accumulated since you started. When you begin, you start with 100 points and the app will show how much points you gained since the previous day.

The other thing you can do are surveys in order to earn points. Personally, I have not earned points from surveys yet as I was usually screened out.

Surveys are usually given when you been to different places, or every few days in the app. You should get a notification whenever a new survey pops up anyway.

Cashing Out

There are 2 kinds of rewards when you redeem, sweepstakes entries and guaranteed prizes.

For sweepstakes, you can view under prize details to see how many of each prizes they are giving away and when the sweepstakes is happening.

For guaranteed prizes, you can immediately redeem to get your choice of reward. This includes money to Paypal and various giftcards.

The redemption amounts look something like this:

• $2 Guaranteed prize: 3000 points
• $5 Guaranteed prize: 5000 points
• $5 Sweepstakes: 20 points
• $10 Sweepstakes:30 points
• $15 Sweepstakes: 40 points
• $25 Sweepstakes: 60 points
• $50 Sweepstakes: 100 points

Depending on how you like to get rewarded, you could go for guaranteed winnings or gamble it on the sweepstakes for a bigger prize if you are feeling lucky. Personally, I would wait and go for the Guaranteed prizes.

Referrals

You can refer friends to use this app as well through texts or E-mail, or even sharing your link through Facebook.

There are 2 tiers of referral: You will receive 10% of the points your referrals earn, and 5% from their referrals. It is definitely a neat way to make more points without doing anything at all except getting people to join in too.

Is this legit?

The company behind this, Placed, has been doing in business since 2011. From their website, you can see that their business is definitely a legit research company, collecting research from places like Panel App for analytics purposes.

From both app stores, you can definitely see that most comments are positive. The panel app have a 4/5 star rating with over 6000 votes and 4/5 star rating with over 200 votes on the iTunes store.

Given that I have recently started using the Panel App, I have not yet reached the payment limit yet. I will update this post when I get my own payment proof to show right here.

Final Thoughts

The Panel app is easy money if you are willing to share some personal information with companies like Placed. Even though you won’t earn much, it is definitely a sort of passive income by just leaving your phone running and the app running in the background.
