Surveys are how companies out there get your opinions. These companies are very interested to get your opinion, which in turn help them to tailor their products to meet consumers needs
better.
There are many survey sites out there that provide the platform to users to take these surveys and get paid by the companies to give their opinion on different matters.
Honestly, Surveys are actually quite fun to take sometimes if you are bored and want to try something new. You can earn money for just giving your own opinion, how cool is that?
I still do it once it awhile when companies send me surveys through my e-mail.
Making it your hobby
Taking surveys can be a hobby too! It is one of mine as I find earning money for giving feedback is really
rewarding.
Remember that survey sites would not pay you hundreds or thousands of dollars a month for surveys, and that this is only a source of extra income.
You can sign up for multiple survey sites at a time to increase your potential for earning more as well. Most sites would inform you of a new survey through your email, so signing up for many would ensure regular inflow of surveys to take.
However, you must exercise caution to identify which sites are scams, and which are the legit ones.
How do i know if a site is a scam or not?
I know this question is in the back of many people’s mind since the Internet is full of scams. This is why I listed down the few things to look out for to avoid getting scammed on my article here.
Below this are some things related to survey sites to look for before signing up for a survey site.
1. Paying for a registration fee
Legit websites would not require you to pay ANY kind of fee at all. As such, you would want to avoid any sites that ask you to pay anything at all. There are so many survey sites that are free to use anyway.
2. Promise a big sum of money for surveys
Generally, the money you earn from surveys are just extra pocket money and do not make you rich overnight. Any sites claiming that you can work from home by just taking surveys alone are usually scams. Do not expect to get paid thousands of dollars for taking surveys a month.
3. Check their FAQ, Privacy Statement and Terms of Condition
Legit survey sites have these few documents listed on their website so that they can protect themselves and the users (Such as not exposing user details to 3rd parties besides the clients). You would want to stay away from sites that do not have these documents listed on their websites.
4. Search online!
Google is your best friend here to tell you if a site is legit or not. See what other users say about the
survey site itself. You can refer to my website as I would update time to time on the different survey sites you can join, and sites you should avoid.

I have personally used all these survey sites and I would give my stamp of approval as they are 100% legit, and easy to use. Some links here may include a referral link as well. (Thanks if you sign up through me!)

Final thoughts
Surveys are a way that could help you to get extra pocket money, but do not promise a full time income. They are fun to do sometimes, and can help you pass time while being productive as well. These sites are really great for stay at home moms/dads that wish to get extra income as well!
Do check out other ways to make additional income through apps and websites as well.

Thanks for the list! I might check a couple of these out. It’s not that I have extra time to burn…but a few extra dollars here and there would help offset some regular charges I have coming out of PayPal each month!

Hi Ben,
I usually do these surveys on and off, maybe 10-15 minutes a day at most since I get about 1-2 surveys each day. It is not much money, but definitely have used some money to offset daily expenses.

One site that people have success with making money from surveys is http://www.surveyhomebeginnings.org. The results vary from person to person but people do make money off completing surveys.

Hi Matthew,
It is true that people make money off surveys. However, what you linked seems to be a clickbank product, and what the page claims seem to be really suspicious as the earnings are way too high for surveys. While I can’t be 100% sure, it seems like that site is just getting people to buy its product.

Hi Terence, I have signed up for four of the websites except for Ann and Kate. So far Global Test Market is the one giving most surveys, but I think the one i am based in is GTM Singapore (yours seem to be Canada), for which they give 10 SGD for 600 points (different from your payout plan). It is quite fun to do the surveys though. So far it took me five surveys to reach 580 points (20 left to redeem 10 SGD). It is fun to do on the go while earning a little bit more. I am also hoping to push up my traitscores in paidviewpoint so that one day can reach the 9000 rank. Thanks for sharing all these!
Terence says
Hey Ying Wei,
Im not sure about the GTM Singapore, but mine directs to a global site which is what I am using too. Either way, hope you are enjoying taking the surveys!

Hello Terence! Thanks for compiling this list and I have some online surveys websites which I used for a few years (except for YouGov.sg) you can review:
1) ValuedOpinions.sg (similar to AIP Online Surveys): You can redeem at a minimum of 20 dollars value of either Cold Storage vouchers or TicketMax. There is no referral link for it and you can sign one account for free at https://www.valuedopinions.sg/index
2) Toluna.sg at https://sg.toluna.com/ which has gift cards and also a $20 paypal redemption.
3) Recently trying out Yougov.sg at https://sg.yougov.com/en-sg/ which looks promising here.

Hi nwstbz,
Thanks for visiting my website! I actually have used all 3 before but have not compiled a proper review for them yet. Yougov is pretty good too as you rarely get screened out, but you get lesser payment too.
