Internet Income University LogoName: Internet Income University

Website: http://www.internetincomeuniversity.com

Price: Initial payments from $434.95 – $834.95,
Recurring payments from $146 – $54

Owners: Kevin Blue & Darin Blue

Rating: 40/100

EDIT (23/7/15): Internet Income University website has seem to be taken down and now replaced by a new website called Skillpay. I will be leaving this website for information, and will be covering an article on Skillpay very soon!

The FAST income plan

Internet Income University claims that they can help you build your own website in 24 hours, and make money from it from affiliate programs. They are basically selling you a package which automates your website and sales for you, helping you set up your website quickly and start selling your affiliate products.

They promote a program called the FAST income plan. You would be required to follow the 4 steps of the program to build your own website and start promoting affiliate items.

There is 4 steps to this plan:

  1. Fast Website Set-up
  2. Affiliate Income Stream
  3. Scalable Advertising
  4. Training and Support

What are they selling?

They are selling you a whole package where they ask you to follow a step-by-step process. It starts from signing up free to see what they are offering inside.

Home page

After going through the welcome page and the welcome video, I was directed to the first page which was the ‘Fast Website Set-up’, where they would help you set up your website. All you needed to do on the page was:

  1. Buy a domain name and hosting
  2. Submit a short form

For a complete newbie, I am not sure that immediately buying a domain name and hosting is a good idea at all. It seems like you are forced to buy something that you may not know what to do with it.

The second step requires you to fill up a form that asks way too much information. You are required to give them everything that you bought, such as your username, password, domain name. By handing over all your information too, it sounds like you have completely no control over the content at all too.

Notice that they ask you to buy your domain name and hosting from a website called Secure Online Hosting. This is because it is one of their affiliate products that they promote, and you are required to buy from them to get your ‘Free’  income generating website.

Questionnaire1

The form goes on to ask you a lot of personal information that I feel that is way too personal, such as your employment details, your phone number, how much you are willing to invest and how much money you want to make. All these are asked even before you are told what you are going to do and achieve those goals.

The main products come after setting up your websites under ‘Affiliate Income Stream’. They mention on their page that they have 5 affiliate programs that they offer, and explains to the users the process and their own formula on how they derive success using Affiliate marketing.

The only problem is that all these programs are not free, and require you to buy them in order to access the affiliate program. Here’s a breakdown of the list of items:

  1. Referral program: Referring other users to join – Free when you signed up
  2. Online hosting: Their own hosting services, providing domain name and hosting – Costs $14.95
  3. Keyword Evolution: Their own keyword tool, and you could use to get keywords – Costs $97
  4. Personal Development Progress: A tool to help people create success – Costs $177
  5. ViSalus: Seems like an health MLM opportunity that they promote – Costs $49/month

If you add everything up, your first month with them after buying all the products and affiliate program would cost you $337.95. To me, it seems like it is a huge investment to buy their products so that you could join their affiliate program. However that is not all, as you still would need the advertising and the SEO optimization that they offer to help you build traffic.

AdvertisingOn the ‘Scalable Advertising’ page, they mention how they do all the SEO optimization for you and promises to build you a huge traffic to your website. I was finding what was the difference between the three tiers but did not find any information of it. However, whatever option you pick, the minimum you are required to pay is an additional $97 per month.

Here is the breakdown of all the costs

  • Your first month costs you $434.95 ($14.95 + $97 + $177 + $49 + $97)
  • Every month after that costs you $146, assuming you pick SEO Infinity Silver. ($49 + $97)
  • The whole year will cost you $2040.95 ($434.95 + $146 x 11 months)

At this point, do you know what you are paying for and what you need to do? For one, I have absolutely no idea besides giving them money.

Pros and Cons

With all the products covered, here is the rundown of everything about the site.

 The Pro’s

  • You get to see the inside, no purchase required.
  • They brief you on how Affiliate marketing works.

The Con’s

  • The ‘Free’ website is not exactly free at all.
  • You have no control over your own website.
  • There are way too many up-sells for affiliate products.
  • There is close to no training on what to do.
  • There is also close to no support, besides contacting the company.
  • You are forced to sell their affiliate programs only.

Earning from Internet Income University

Secure Online HostingInternet Income University promotes affiliate marketing, but you are locked down to their only promoting their 5 products that they selling, which is all developed from the company itself.

You are paid a commission every time someone clicks through your link and buy their product. This picture on the right shows you how much you can earn by promoting their online hosting
services.

The only thing is, there are so many better hosting services out there such as Bluehost which is much more recognized. You can definitely get domain names from places like Namecheap for a better price too.

How about their keyword tool? You can check out Jaaxy and try out for free too!

You are also not guaranteed to make money from their program according to their earnings disclaimer, and remember that you have close to no control on what you earn too, so it seems like a see-and-wait kind of thing to me.

Costs of Internet Income University

I have covered this in the section while explaining the products. Remember you need to buy the product to access the affiliate program.

  1. Online Hosting: $14.95
  2. Keyword Tool: $97.00
  3. Person development program: $177
  4. ViSalus, MLM program: $49 per month
  5. Advertising/SEO optimization: $97/$297/$497 per month

Initial Investment for all products: $434.95 – $834.95

Payment per month: $146 – $546

These are all the costs you would need to pay before you can actually access all their affiliate programs. You may be thinking that it is a lot of money to fork out for such a program, and I totally agree with you.

Final Thoughts

While I definitely do not regard Internet Income University as a scam website, it really seems like an expensive product that provide minimal training and support, which is ironic that their website is called a ‘University’ in my opinion. Did you also know that there are many lucrative affiliate programs out there that are free to sign up as well?

What I can see inside the website is them trying to hype you up, showing you how much money you could make by buying their products. They use many buzz words and jargons to make you feel excited, and then convincing you to buy their product so you can many money from it.

In the end, their ‘free’ product actually requires you to pay and buy all their up sells if you even want to start earning, which I personally hate too as it seems very deceiving.

I personally Do Not Recommend joining the program, especially if you are new to Affiliate marketing.

Whats Next?

If you are looking to learn more about Affiliate marketing, try out my #1 recommended product, Wealthy Affiliate. They provide one of the best training and communities I have seen online.

Even complete newbies are taught the ropes of how affiliate marketing works with the training provided on WA, backed by a very active community to support you if you have any questions along the way. It is the product that I recommend if you want to get into Affiliate marketing for sure.

The main thing is that it is free to signup, and you are even given 2 free websites that you could set up and learn to make money from it. If you choose to upgrade to a premium membership which cost $47 a month or $359 a year, you are given access to even more resources and training to make your website even better.

Compared to paying $146 a month at Internet Income University, you are only paying fraction of the price for a lot more resources. Best part of all, no upsells, one payment and you are given everything you need!

      Hi Mohamed Belhaj,
I do not recommend this product as it really seems very expensive and there is a lot of up sells to it. Why not try another product very similar to IIU that is free to sign up and try?
