It is only one tier, so you will only earn from referring your friend. The 3rd person buying will only earn your friend the money but not you.

Hi K,
What you are giving shopback is your Name, Email, Password. You are not paying a single cent to the program at all, so there is nothing to lose. I have personally cashed out 3-4 times on this program itself, and you can check other reviews that say the same as well.

Hi Peggy,
I believe Ebates is caters more for US, and shopback is mostly in the SEA region for now. I guess I just use Shopback more because it is a regional thing. But thanks for your opinion!

I use Ebates quite often and they do have a wide variety of stores to choose from.
